Preferences
The Preferences section (linked as Job Preferences in the nav) lets you control what INAJ looks for, keeps your resume current, and manages which companies it tracks.
Job Preferences
Set your search criteria at /preferences. INAJ uses these to
score every posting. Changes take effect on the next evaluation run.
How do you want to work?
Are you looking for an IC or people-manager role?
Compensation
Commute
We’ll skip on-site or hybrid jobs farther from your home than this — even when your work-mode preference is “no preference”. Ignored for fully-remote roles.
Job posting age
Postings older than this are skipped. Keeps your queue focused on roles that are still actively hiring.
Resume Editor
Your resume lives in the Markdown editor at /profile/resume.
INAJ reads it to evaluate every posting and generate tailored CVs. You can
edit inline or upload a new file (PDF or Word). Uploading re-runs the full
import → profile pipeline in the background.

Target Companies
Your company list tells INAJ which employers you’re most interested in. It uses this in two ways:
- Direct scanning: Each domain you add (e.g.
stripe.com) gets expanded into the full set of job portals that company uses — Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, their own careers page — and those portals are scanned every day. - Similar company discovery: INAJ also uses your list to find other companies that do similar work — same domain, same tech profile, comparable size — so you’re not limited to the names you already know. These similar companies get added to your scan list automatically.
Updating the list regenerates the portal set and triggers a new scan. The
company list is accessible at /profile/companies (also
part of the onboarding flow).

Display timezone
Set your timezone at /profile/timezone. Every time INAJ shows you
— evaluation dates on the dashboard, timestamps in reports, and the times
in your emails — is displayed in the timezone you pick here.
If your browser reports a different timezone than the one saved on your account (for example, after you travel), a banner appears offering to switch. You can accept it or keep your current setting.
